Our son, with Down Syndrome & Type 1 Diabetes, struggled with developmental milestones. Despite PT & a Functional Neurologist identifying retained reflexes, he couldn't crawl, stand, or walk independently by age 3. We felt guilty, but then found Apex Chiropractic. At 2 days old, my daughter had her first adjustment; she was so calm and relaxed after — a DREAM during postpartum. Dr. Kirsten was so gentle. Then at 10 months, my daughter had alarming constipation and neck straining. Instead of the walk-in, I brought her to Dr. Kirsten.
